Balenciaga S/S’05 By Nicolas Ghesquière ‘K9 Police Dog’ T-shirt

First seen in the Spring 2005 collection, this t-shirt rings wildly similar to the modern designs of the eponymous label. The graphic reads “POLICE” as a K9 breaches the window of a cruiser, and the mirror reflects a scenic view in front.

In the pantheon of fashion grails, Ghesquiere’s creations for Balenciaga remain the ultimate, elusive must-have. He was able to set the trends and the obsessions of the 2000s by adopting the old goods of Balenciaga and combining it with his vision and so he always tried to find the balance between the past and the future. He said once in a interview that he has ‘the desire for timelessness”.
